Firsthand helps commercial insurance brokers write and publish LinkedIn content in their own voice. These are the terms you agree to by using it. They are written to be read, not to be survived.

Software that turns what you already know into content: a one-time content strategy built from your answers, and a subscription that researches your clients' industry, drafts posts in your voice, checks them against common compliance patterns, and publishes what you approve. It drafts. You decide.
You need an account, an accurate email address, and a password you keep to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your login. If you join through a brokerage, an administrator at your firm may hold permissions over content in your account; those permissions are visible to you and revocable by you.
The strategy is a one-time purchase: you pay once, the document is yours to keep, nothing recurs. The subscription bills monthly through Stripe until you cancel, which you can do at any time and which takes effect at the end of the period already paid for. Trials are free until they end, and we tell you the price before anything is charged. If something went wrong with a charge, email us and we will sort it out; we do not make refunds a fight.
Everything you put in and everything Firsthand drafts for you belongs to you: your profile, your knowledge base, your drafts, your published posts. We take only the licence needed to operate the product, which means storing your material, processing it with the model providers named in the privacy policy, and publishing to LinkedIn when you tell us to. We do not train models on your content and we do not sell it.
Firsthand is not insurance advice, legal advice, or a compliance department. The compliance features flag common patterns that get regulated sellers into trouble; they are an aid, not a guarantee, and they do not know your regulator, your carrier contracts, or your firm's rules. You are responsible for every post published under your name, including checking anything a draft asserts before it goes out. Drafts are generated by AI from your material and can be wrong.
Do not use Firsthand to mislead people, to spam, to publish content about individuals without their consent, to infringe someone else's rights, or to break LinkedIn's own terms. Do not probe, overload, or resell the service. We can suspend accounts that do these things, and for anything wilful we will.
Publishing uses a connection you authorise and can revoke in Settings. LinkedIn is its own platform with its own rules; what happens to your account there is governed by LinkedIn's terms, and we cannot promise their platform will accept, keep, or display any post.
We work to keep Firsthand fast and available, and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. The service is provided as is. We ship fixes quickly and tell you honestly when something broke.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for anything arising from the service is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses: lost profits, lost clients, or what a post did or did not do for your pipeline.
You can stop using Firsthand and delete your account at any time; the privacy policy says what happens to your data when you do. We can close accounts that break these terms, with notice unless the breach makes notice pointless.
If these terms change in a way that matters, we will say so on this page and update the date at the top. Continuing to use Firsthand after a change means accepting it.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and Canada, and disputes belong to the courts of Ontario.
